National Student Research Group (NSRG) provides many opportunities for the SRG local chapter members to get involved at the national level.
All the local SRG members are invited to attend the NSRG meetings & lucheons held annually at the IADR/AADR General Session and Exhibition. The meetings and lucheons provide a great way for the students to interact and communicate with students and advisors from other dental schools across the country.
Leadership opportunities are available for all the SRG members who are active IADR/AADR members. Online voting for the NSRG Officer slate will take place in the spring every year. One candidate can be nominated from each school. Elected officers will begin their terms as officers-elect immediately. They officially take office after the next AADR meeting and serve through the following year. Officer positions are President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Concilor.
Non-officer positions are also available at NSRG for students to get involved and serve as student representatives for general student body. Positions are Members-at-Large, non-officer members of variable decision committees.
